1st Bovevagh Scouts

1st Bovevagh Scouts is for girls and both aged between 6 and 14 years. The younger sections meet every Wednesday night in Bovevagh Parish Centre: Beaver Scouts (6-8yrs) and Cub Scouts (8-10.5yrs) The Scout section meet every Friday evening (10.5-14yrs). We run from September to May, with a Scout camp during the Summer months.

Beavers (Wednesday 6.15-7.15pm)

The Beavers spend their evening following the Beavers motto ‘Fun & Friends’. When they meet up they spend their evening playing games, meeting friends, doing crafts & activties to gain badges.

Cubs (Wednesday 7.30-8.30pm)

The Cubs motto is ‘Be Prepared’. The Cubs spend their evening playing games, meeting friends, learning new skills and doing activties for badgework.

Scouts (Friday 7.00-8.30pm)

The Scouts motto is ‘Be Prepared’. The Scouts spend their evening learning new skills, learning about camping requirements, meeting friends, playing games, and doing activites towards earning badges.
