These two rural Church of Ireland parishes, embrace a genuine appeal to gospel centred ministry. My vision is to move that forward to personal discipleship and a love for the Word of God. Church life reflects the ‘down to earth ‘ style that is typical of the mainly farming community we seek to serve in Jesus’ Name. We perhaps don’t always get it right, but we hope that established members, newcomers, returners, whomever the Lord brings to us, that all these people will feel loved and welcomed in Dungiven and Bovevagh. As minister, I pray that people will meet with Jesus through word and spirit, and as a result of that meeting find full salvation and surrender their lives to Him as disciples.
While you are browsing this website, you will learn about our groups and ministries and get a glimpse of church life, but only a glimpse. Why not go a stage further…come to a worship service or an event that we are running. You will soon feel like one of the family. Our two facebook pages should keep you well up to date with the latest goings on. When you’ve visited the website, we hope you’ll visit us. I for one would love to meet you and get to know you. Every Blessing in Christ, Revd Mark Loney (Rector / Minister)
Revd Mark Loney has been Rector of the Parishes since September 2015. He is married to Jo and they have two children Reuben and Jemimah (Jem).
