The Church Vision

Who is Dungiven and Bovevagh Churches?

The parish group consists of two small, rural parishes with a membership of about 180 families. We are located in the beautiful
Roe Valley, close to the Sperrin Mountains and the north coast.

Coming from a broad evangelical tradition our church family seeks to
be inclusive of those wanting to follow Christ. Although we have clear convictions of our own, we want to welcome those who may not yet share them but want to explore the truth about the God who shows himself in Jesus.

What is the Dungiven and Bovevagh Vision?

As a church we are committed to healthy church growth. We want to grow in our relationship with God, we want to grow closer together as God’s family and we want to grow out into our local community as we seek to share our faith in words and actions.

The Vision

  • Drawing it all togetherThe Church is one, holy, catholic and apostolic because God is one, holy, catholic and apostolic, and the Church is called to reflect his nature by the creative and energising power of the Holy Spirit at work within it.
